Cooyou Close is a thoughtfully designed collection of 24 villas and apartments located in the stunning coastal town of Exmouth. Occupying a 6,794 square metre site, the development offers a mix of single-story one-bedroom and two-bedroom villas to the west and double-story, two-bedroom apartments to the east, catering to both short and long-term residents.
The Fowler Group and Celsius commenced design work on the project in November 2021, and construction began in July 2022. DLR Building Co. was engaged early in the process as the preferred builder, which allowed cost advice to be provided as design progressed. The first 13 single-storey villas were completed in April 2023, and the remaining 11 units were completed in September 2023.
The project extends from a central heart, where residents can meet and enjoy the pool, barbecue and shelter in a lush, landscaped environment. The product mix was developed due to the requirements for longer-term use – meaning 17 two-bedroom, two-bathroom and 7 one-bedroom, one-bathroom dwellings were built. Two units were built to meet the ‘National Construction Code’ requirements for access for disabled people with minor future internal design changes.
